Ballet Conservatory’s Summer Intensive draws students from around the United States and beyond to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, for 4-weeks of elevated training with world-class faculty; guests and our own team. Meet our faculty. BCA’s 2026 Summer guest faculty includes SAB/Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Matthew Powell, and KC Ballet’s Matthew Donnell. Recent summer guest- faculty include NYC Ballet’s Daniel Ulbricht, Paris Opera Ballet’s Karin Averty, Nashville Ballet’s Molly Sansone, Broadway/Milwaukee Ballet/Jacob’s Pillow’s Nick Kepley, ABT/Twyla Tharpe/Broadway’s John Selya, plus NYC Ballet’s Amanda Edge, and Indiana University/Eglevsky Ballet’s Michael Vernon.
Advanced, Intermediate & Beginner four-week course. Rigorous training & small class sizes, for dedicated ballet students. Daily classes include: Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations, Partnering, Boys Class, Modern, Jazz, Pilates, Yoga. Housing & scholarships available. Excursions in the beautiful Asheville area. Our summer showcase offers valuable performance and rehearsal experience. Each dancer performs in multiple pieces in various styles to apply technique from classes.
