As a certified associate member of the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, she earned certificates in classical ballet and modern dance education.

She first joined Vienna Festival Ballet, touring in “Swan Lake” throughout England and Europe. Angie studied and performed in New York City before moving to Asheville in 2005 with husband Chris and their three daughters. In Asheville, she built an award winning young dancers program as Dance Director and lead ballet instructor at the Asheville Arts Center, recognized as a Best Dance Program winner by WNC Parent Magazine’s Parent Choice Awards.

She is excited to open a brand new, professionally equipped dance studio and conservatory with formidable studio partner and master teacher, Wayne Burritt. Their new conservatory integrates Angie & Wayne’s recognized nurturing styles, their notable artistry and professional dance standards.

"I am privileged to share from my professional dance experiences, when teaching young students, nurturing them as they develop beautiful ballet technique, graceful coordination, musicality and confidence."
